But it's difficult to deliver the goods for the reason that China's production is faster, while the quantity of the container is less.
2. Port congestion
It's reported that due to factors such as insufficient labor caused by the spread of the epidemic abroad, serious congestion has occurred in ports in the United States, Europe and other places since the fourth quarter of 2020, which has led to chaos in the logistics supply chain and reduced efficiency.
3. Shipment delay
Generally speaking, it takes about 15 days for the ship to arrive at the port. But for now, it takes a month or even longer. Even though we are eager to deliver our well finished chandelier and lighting to our clients, we have no idea about the shipment.
4. Shipping cost increase
All these factors led to the rising price. For example, ZIM company will implement Port Congestion Surcharge and Destination Delivery Charge with effective from August 1, 2021. Matson company will increase the charge to California Port Congestion Surcharge effective form August 5,2021.
